- Indication
- For hand-foot syndrome (palmar-plantar erythrodysesthesia) caused by certain chemotherapies and radiation therapy — painful redness, swelling and peeling of the skin on the palms and soles.
- Usage
- Prophylactic, from day one of therapy. Wash with lukewarm water and mild soap, dry gently with a soft towel, and apply twice daily to palms and soles.

Hand-foot syndrome is a side effect of some chemotherapies and radiation therapies. It presents as painful redness, swelling and peeling of the skin on the palms and soles, and in severe cases blistering and deep fissures.
Reconval B6, with vitamin B6 and moisture-retaining substances, is used prophylactically. Regular application reduces the occurrence of hand-foot syndrome and skin redness and improves quality of life during therapy.
